I was leaving home for the first time when I came to Munich, Germany. As I arrive, I was fascinated by the distinct foods, customs, traditions, and social atmospheres but as soon as the culture shock fades, I started to notice I was changing as a person. My stay in Europe allowed me to discover myself while gaining an understanding and appreciation of different people, history, and culture. It was an opportunity to be relieved from a limited view of the world and witness a completely new way of life. Eventually, you will find a job and career, and that brief amount of time you studied abroad may turn out to be a once in a lifetime opportunity. It will change your life and you'll come back a new person. You’ll also leave a piece of your heart in there and will keep you coming back.
